I am a little unclear as to what the atheist guy meant when he said that it was disingenious to say that people who do not believe in God are atheist…. the term atheist is a denial of the existence of God, agnostics also do not believe in God, but they are not atheists…
Not to be disrespectful to other atheists but whenever I hear many of them speak, they feel as if a person who does not accept the Judeo-Christian God or accept the Christian faith or other faiths then that person is automatically an atheist. Also, the reporter and the Amazing Atheist guy wanted to say that atheism is up to 5% but whether it is or not, it is still a reminder that Christians, especially Christian parents, need to educate themselves and their children about the truths of our faith and how to live a Christ-centered life. Atheists rely so much on science but science is ever changing and God is immutable. Atheists hope that science will disprove God but what they do show is that if we cannot hope or believe in Jesus then we have nothing. Man cannot hope in man because man will fail him time and time again.
I don’t think all atheists give the same definition of atheism. Some say it is a lack of belief in God or gods, etc. I am not sure what is amazing about the amazing atheist in that he gets to be on CNN with WLC. I guess anyone who gets a You Tube following can be famous.
The only amazing thing about this atheist is that he thinks he’s amazing, totally unlike all the other atheists………
